CNNC Xinneng Nuclear Engineering Co., Ltd. (XNEC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNNC. Its predecessor was the seventh research and design institute of the nuclear industry, which was founded in 1957 and independently established in 1965. XNEC affiliated to CNNC, which is the only project general contracting engineering company in China that focuses on the design of uranium enrichment and uranium conversion projects and has the ability to manage the whole process of design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning. XNEC has grade a qualification certificates in the fields of general contracting, engineering design, engineering consulting, engineering survey, engineering construction supervision and engineering cost, and has successively passed the national quality management system, environmental and occupational health and safety management system certification.
With nearly 40 professional design and consulting capabilities, can be engaged in the nuclear industry (including nuclear power), chemical industry, environmental protection, electric power, construction, municipal, commercial, posts and telecommunications, light industry, machinery, building materials, metallurgy, pressure vessels (A1, A2, D1, D2) and other industrial and civil construction industries. CNNC centrifuge uranium enrichment engineering technology research center, uranium purification and conversion engineering technology research center has been set up in XNEC.
